About your letter

Why did you write to me?

We write to people who may have had car finance between 6 April 2007 and 1 November 2024. We don’t know anything about your agreements when we write. Your letter explains where your details came from.

Is this a scam?

No. Case Matters is a trading style of Claim Simple Ltd, a claims management company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 830182). You can check us on the FCA register.

Does the finance agreement have to be paid off, or can I still claim if the loan is still ongoing and active?

The status of a loan — whether it’s been fully paid off or is still being paid — does not automatically prevent a claim. Eligibility depends on how the agreement was sold and the information provided at the time.

What is the process?

You can self-represent and approach the lender directly, go to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), OR you can submit a claim with ourselves and our working partners and we’ll do all the legwork for you. Operating on a No-win-No-fee basis. This means it costs you nothing upfront to join. If your claim is successful, a pre-agreed percentage will be taken as a fee. If your claim is not successful, you won’t pay a penny.

I don’t want any more letters

Tell us by post to Claim Simple Ltd, The Old Fuel Depot, Twemlow Lane, Holmes Chapel, Crewe CW4 8GJ, and we won’t write to you again.

You do not need to use a claims management company to make your complaint. You can do this directly. If your complaint is not successful you can refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service yourself for free. We may receive a fee for introducing you to a third party CMC or panel solicitor, this does not affect any compensation you may receive.
